The so-called local hangout spot, Mystic Grill, smelled like fried food and alcohol, making Aurora have second thoughts about entering the establishment. She looked around for a second and hesitated, but made her way to the nearest available booth. The place was full, even for a Wednesday afternoon. The servers were running around, their trays packed with colorful cocktails, milkshakes and different types of food, however, Aurora wanted her usual.
Over the years she had traveled around the world, she had found that there is some types of alcohol that she simply detested and some that were quite up her alley. Seeing as another waiter passed her table without taking her order, she sighed and got up from her seat, and made her way to the bar.
It didn't take her one minute to catch the attention of the bartender. He looked tall and quite handsome, Aurora thought, "Gotta make the money somehow," she smirked to herself and took a seat. As a tall guy approached her and asked for her order, Aurora took a minute to think. She needed something strong, she had to be a responsible high school student tomorrow, and this was the only way to get through that. "I guess I have some shots.." she thought out loud while going through the menu, "Maybe vodka? No, tequila? I don't know.. surprise me.." she smiled at the man opposite her. The bartender looked at her suspiciously, "Sorry miss, but I think I need to see some ID first?".
Aurora almost laughed out loud at his request. "Of course," she smiled and leaned forward, "But the thing is that I'm not going to show you my ID" she smirked and cocked her head to the side slightly, "Because you really don't need to see it, do you now?". She emphasized her last sentence, as she gazed into his eyes. The man who was clearly confused about what was happening with him nodded slowly, started making her drinks. "Oh, and they are on the house as well.." she added while leaning back in her chair and looking around the bar. "I'm going to have so much fun in this town.." she thought and turned her attention back to the bartender who handed Aurora her drinks.
